look at the map of the Olympic medal winners from 2010 (pictured below, or follow the link to see it in action: A map of olympic medals ) Create a 6 question worksheet about the map/ data to share with a classmate.

Visit the site. Science behind the games choose a video to watch. Record 3 STEM- related things you learned from the video … be sure to EXPLAIN the concept, not just list it.

Working in small groups, you will create a poster to hang in the hallway about an olympic sport. You will also work throughout the duration of the Olympics to record the data for the event you are assigned and post it for others to see.
